Eurasia

Ancient Ruins. More than any other continent, the old world came from Eurasia. The old civilizations began there, and there put down their deepest roots. When the Rusting Ages came, few places suffered more than Europe and the massive cities of China and India. In some of those ancient cities, you might find five thousand years of ruins piled one atop the other.

The Sea of Grass. The Black and Caspian Seas have greatly increased in size, but the immense sea of grass called the Steppes still covers the greater part of the Eurasian continent. Tribes of horse nomads still roam that sea, some tracing an unbroken line of tradition to a time before the old civilizations ever rose, others turning to the horses only after their fall. The rising of the seas scattered the old coastal communities, but new ones soon formed along the new beaches. The nomads range across the steppes, trading with all of them, and ultimately moving stories, news and goods from one end of the massive continent to the other.
