Cyclic Principles
Unlike core principles which apply at all times, cyclic principles only come into play under specific circumstances:
- During a specific stage of a tale
 - During a specific stage of a saga
 - Concerning what a member of the human community does in a particular stage of life (see “Body”).

| Stage | Stage of life | Cyclic principle |
|---|---|---|
| Introduction Stage | Childhood | Draw lines. |
| Development Stage | Young Adulthood | Defer answers. |
| Contrast Stage | Mature Adulthood | Contrast what has happened with something unexpected. |
| Resolution Stage | Elderhood | Weave a wide web of relationships. |
